Dilli Haat: The Ethnic Food Junction
It was a pleasant February afternoon when I visited this place for the first time. This place is a bustling centre for art and culture with a variety of shops displaying ethnic jewellery, beautiful Pashmina shawls and stoles, ethnic clothing and delicious food. We entered the place and there were shawls and stoles swinging in the air all around and of such beautiful and exquisite fabrics which a person can hardly find in any other place in the city. There were other shops selling ethnic wear like Kurtis, Dupattas and ethnic jewellery. Everything was impressive but as a habit I always search for the thing which I am most likely to search everywhere, the food. Luckily here, a person as foodie as me has many options to explore and many delectable items to taste. There are shops selling regional food relating to the particular Indian state they belong and hence named accordingly.
